The 10-day Dasara competition started on the Kanaka Durga temple on Saturday, and the Goddess was worshipped as ‘Swarna Kavachalankruta Durga Devi’ on the primary day of the competition.
Addressing the media, Mr. Vishnu expressed satisfaction over the preparations made by the officers for a hassle-free darshan to the devotees who go to the temple through the festivities from far off areas. He stated with out making any compromise on the COVID-19 tips, the devotees had been being despatched in for darshan.
The earlier 12 months, the temple witnessed a crowd of 80,000 devotees on every of the 10 days of the festivities, he stated.
